Now that you have an understanding of how Recognize is used, and hopefully an understanding of the importance of it being the foundation, we’ll dive head first into Rediscover, which is also divided into two. So, you’ve recognized what you’ve done and what led you to do it. Now you come to understand what needs to go. After all, we only have so much room in our lives for anything, we can’t allow clutter to take up the most space. Open up to God. Allow yourself to be flooded by the love and grace constantly delivered by Him. And trust that He will take control when you allow Him to. Now, you can look in the right places to find your new self. Some say it’s not fun to follow Christ, and that fine; He gave us freewill to do and believe what we please. But, I can testify that when you choose to let Him take control, He is more than glad to fix everything. I’ve been where you are and told Him to take over, and He did. Whether you believe in Christ or not, adjusting your paradigm (the way you view things) to a more optimistic viewpoint is a must. When you’re feeling down, it’s almost natural to see everything negatively, like I said I’ve been there too. But seeing the good in everything makes life so much better. When you’re positive, you can identify and tackle your self-limiting beliefs.

Now it’s time to let it go. The past is the past and that’s where it’s going to stay. If you hold on to it, you don’t bring it with you on your path to success, it simply holds you in the past with it. You have to give up trying to control things you can’t control. Somethings only the Big Man upstairs can handle. Another piece of the “You” puzzle is getting physically fit. This is crucial for confidence, mental health, and physical well-being. It’s time to stomp the snake on its head and remove all forms and sources of negativity from your life. Separate yourself from people that aren’t where you want to be and aren’t going where you want to go. On top of all this, learning to overcome challenges is a necessity. Too many people make it, run into a couple bumps, and stop. There will be tough times in life, its guaranteed. But it’s your choice to realize that behind each setback is an even greater success. A “failure,” or whatever you choose to call, it needs to be a lesson learned, and a lesson used in your life and on your journey to success. Release the negative thoughts.

This was a lot to process in a short period of time. Listen again if need be. Tomorrow we’ll talk about Renew.
