The minor success rate of 12 steps programs, and when I say minor I mean 5-10%, proves the methods are outdated. Instead of belittling you into conforming to the institutions ways, we have developed a more efficient and logical approach.
The first Active Choice (AC) is to Recognize. Whatever the issue is, whether it be drug addiction, codependency, nomophobia (which is short for non-mobile phone phobia – that anxious feeling some get when being out of cell service, the phone battery is dying and no charger can be found, or losing the phone), or any other habit, it must be brought to light. The issue other methods have is they solely rely on recognizing the habit itself. The root cause of the habit, along with other diminishing things have to be brought to light as well.
The next Active Choice (AC) is to Rediscover. This is a broad term that will be discussed in more detail in a couple days. Basically, if you don’t believe you can get over this bump in the road, you won’t be able to release whatever bad habit you may have acquired. In turn, you won’t get to be who you want to be. After all, you signed up for the information because you want to be a more awesome version of you. For anything to be effective, you have to be willing to make it happen.
Once you Rediscover who you’re going to be, the best version of you, it’s time to Renew. This is making it happen. Again, a complex mode of recovery that will be explained in a later day. Don’t let the complexity of this idea be frightening; we’ve made the way to tackle it very simple. It can just be a little tricky to explain.
Restored is keeping the wheels turning of everything you’ve learned. This is a life journey, and we’re all works in progress. The phase of restoring aids in instilling everything you've learnd, and more, to allow a lifetime of success, and 100% self-dependency.
We’re in this together! We’ll see you tomorrow as we dive deeper into Recognize.
